The Alpha Competition intake is a direct replacement for the standard intake system on the 2.0 TFSI EA113 engines found in the Audi S3 8P, Golf 5 GTI, Golf 6 R, Scirocco R, and Leon 2 Cupra models. This intake system features an aluminum intake pipe that connects the turbo to a washable multi-layer filter, supplied with air by an aluminum diffuser that also acts as a heat shield. With its mounting kit, including a plug for the dump valve return port (not used with K03 turbo), this intake system offers an aggressive sound, a sleek look, and an average gain of 12hp on a stage 1 tuned engine.
