This upgraded intercooler is specifically designed for BMW 135 and 335 models equipped with the N54 twin turbo and N55 single turbo engines, as well as the BMW 1M with the N54 6-cylinder twin turbo engine. After extensive testing, Forge determined that a bar and plate core design was the most efficient for these models, resulting in improved cooling ability and reduced pressure loss compared to the factory intercooler. The intercooler features CNC machined bayonet couplers for easy plug and play installation, and comes with all necessary hardware and instructions.
