The Mishimoto heat shield is designed to limit the thermal spread caused by the temperature rise of the turbo and the exhaust manifold in the engine compartment of the Honda Civic Type R FK2/FK8. This heat shield fits the standard K20C turbos without any modification and offers a resistance of up to 1260°C, keeping the intake and cooling system away from the high temperatures of the forced induction system for improved performance and reliability!
